You can be whatever you want when you grow up, and that we believed as true. As fact. As inspiration. As light. Somewhere along the way between doubts, fears, and discouragement that light became dimmer until we stop believing . We no longer believed that we could, in fact, be whatever it was we wanted to be. The super hero mentality we once held as a little beings slipped away and we forgot that we were once invincible. Not physically, but mentally, invincible. The power to achieve is a light that lives within. It never leaves or slips away. It is just subsided. Subsided by the pessimistic poisons that tell us we can't, we shouldn't and we won't ever be. Oh how that is false because we should, we will, and we can do anything, be anything, dream anything we want in this world. We are not limited, powerless, or even one dimensional. We are moms, we are wives, we are career women, we are daughters, and we are friends. We are living the dream. Living our dream by no ones standards, but our own. Achievements, whether great or small, are ours to be proud of. Dreams whether simple or extravagant are ours create and live out. Love the life you are living and live the life you have to the fullest. Appreciate it. Dwell in it. Bask in it. We can be whatever we want to be, and love whoever we want to love. There is nothing more comforting and beautiful than living your life the way you always dreamed it would.
