The first time I met Lauren Karr was at a meet and greet for a local mom's group. She was super friendly and sweet, so I was definitely excited to meet the rest of her beautiful family. I had the pleasure of taking her family portraits and it was definitely a special experience.

When the Karr's arrived on the scene I was so excited with their styling from head to toe. They were one good looking family. My heart melting especially when I saw little Bronson in his suspenders! Originally, I had planned to do their photo shoot at the beautiful Lillian Webb park, but he sun was definitely not cooperating. Lucky for us it wasn't because I got to explore the downtown area near the park and find some great shooting location.

The first spot I found was this classic white brick wall. I was so excited because knew it would fit the style of shoot. We started to take some classic family shots, then broke it off into a solo with Lauren (mom).

I wanted to take some solo photos of mom and especially highlight her accessories because they were awesome and she looked amazing! Those solo photos did not last very long because little Bronson needed some mommy time which was so sweet. The picture with Lauren and Bronson was super sweet because it wasn't posed it was just a beautiful moment.

The next location was this white paved wall with windows that had these adorable blue shutters. I absolutely loved the way it complimented these photos. I thought this would also be a great location to get some great photos of Bronson(son) and Ian (Dad). Their outfits really complimented one another and I thought what better place to capture their adorable father son outfits then with these adorable blue shutters! Thanks to mom behind the scenes, I was able to get some genuine giggles from Bronson and Ian.

I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for photographing couples and their love, so the next part of this session was definitely a treat for me, especially because I knew that I would be helping document 5 years of blessings and achievement. Lauren and Ian Eloped with close loved ones in Las Vegas! People might of thought they were crazy, but they were only crazy for one another. Here they were 5 years later as beautiful and strong as the day they said I do. I could definitely feel that love and I am glad I could capture it.

I know you all would agree that this kid is a cutie! I had so much fun capturing his activities and little expressions throughout the shoot. He was the total depiction of toddle life; cute, careless, and free. All he wanted to do was run around a be a kid and was fine with me. Mom and Dad joined the party again and the shoot ended on a sweet note.
